The 2011 season of "American Idol" has already been packed with drama, but that didn't even come close to measuring the breakdown that Jennifer Lopez went through when she had to give an "American Idol" contestant bad news. Now the revelations of who Lopez, Randy Jackson, and Steven Tyler chose to make it to the live shows of the 2011 installment are finally taking place.

The first five contestants that made it into the 2011 "American Idol" Top 24 were revealed on the Wednesday, Feb. 23 episode of the show. Those five finalists were Naima Adedapo, Clint Gamboa, Ashton Jones, Paul McDonald, and Haley Reinhart. They are now awaiting the other 19 finalists that will be revealed by the producers on the Thursday, Feb. 24 episode of the show. The finalists have already been set for a while though, and there are some sites claiming to know their identities already.

19-year-old Abrams was rehearsing at CBS Television City when he began to feel sick.

We're told Abrams was taken to a nearby hospital -- where he's expected to stay overnight ... possibly longer.

And it gets worse -- now that Abrams has made the top 24, he's scheduled to tape a performance on Friday ... along with the rest of the top 12 men. But if Abrams is not well enough to take the stage on Friday, we're told he will be eliminated from the competition.
