Miss Nebraska, Teresa Scanlan. Tonight she was crowned the Miss America 2011 winner! Get all the details behind her win plus a gallery of gorgeous photos and video.

Congratulations to Miss Nebraska! The blonde beauty reigned victorious tonight in Las Vegas. We have all the information you want to know about Teresa here!

Can you believe that she is only 17 years old? Teresa, whose name is often misspelled as Theresa Scanlan, becomes the youngest winner of the title since the very first pageant – dating back to 1921, when the District of Columbia’s Margaret Gorman was crowned the winner at the age of 15.

A $50,000 scholarship is now hers and she has plans to attend Patrick Henry College this fall. Hmmm. She may have to put college studies off for a bit, eh? First runner up went to Miss Arkansas, Alyse Eady.

This was the 90th anniversary of the pageant, where we saw several previous winners over the years featured during the show. What a sight that was to see!!

She is 17 years of age and hails from Gering, Nebraska, a small town in the western part of the state whose population in 2000 was less than 10,000.

During the final moments of Miss America 2011, Miss Nebraska won over Miss Arkansas. Another year, another tiara!
